Preserving A Legacy
The NNARMAC Journey

The Northern Negros Aquatic Resources Management and Advisory Council (NNARMAC) is an alliance of eight (8) Local Government Units (LGUs) composed of the Cities of San Carlos, Escalante, Sagay, Cadiz, and Victorias together with the Municipalities of Calatrava, Toboso and Manapla.

Its creation was formalizeed through a Memorandum of Agreemen (MOA) with the respective Local Chief Executives (LCEs) of these eight LGUs in May 2000, anchored on a common agenda to protect, rehabilitate and manage the coastal and marine resources with the territorial jurisdiction of these member cities and municipalities.

                                                                                  Its existence is the consequence of a preceding agreement among the four (4) LGUs, namely;

                                                                                  the Cities of Cadiz, Escalante and Sagay and the Municipality of Manapla. (
